Our Community Partners are in Need

With so many of our neighbors in need, we will post the agencies and their current list of needs on this page and update as necessary.  If you have small items to donate, look for the Outreach boxes in the church narthex and in the Parish House. For larger items, call the listed contact person or, if there is no one assigned, contact the  church office and your information will be forwarded to the appropriate person on the Outreach Committee.

 Covenant to Care
 Dear Friends,

Buy two, Donate one; Keep our children wrapped in caring warmth.

This season we, at Covenant to Care for Children, are already seeing another dramatic increase in the numbers of children needing our help with school clothes and supplies. As winter approaches, we anticipate continued growth for requests for winter coats.

We want to keep all our kids warm! We want them to stay healthy, be able to learn, and know that there are people in Connecticut that care and are thinking about them.

Our request this year is that when you are out purchasing a winter coat for your child or yourself, you take a moment to purchase one more child’s coat.

Buy 2, donate 1 to CCC

We will need winter coats for children of all ages, genders and sizes. Please help by donating a new children’s coat to Covenant to Care for Children. Call our office to arrange a drop off or, if you have more than 20 coats, please call us to arrange for pickup.

Buy one coat for your child and one coat for our child.

Maybe when you are making room in the closet you will find that last year’s coat which is outgrown, is not very worn and is suitable for a second life. Add that to your CCC donation for twice the impact!

It’s the new math. Buy two, Donate two, keep one.

Winter is going to be cold inside and out. Children need to be kept warm in order to thrive and be healthy. Please help us with this effort! Covenant to Care for Children thanks you for your generosity.

Buy two, donate one; keep our children wrapped in caring warmth.
