Come and Walk the First Church Labyrinth.
The First Church in Windsor is blessed to have an eleven-circuit, hand-painted labyrinth that is available at various times during the year in Nelson Hall. This meditative walking path is open to anyone who is seeking a spiritual experience or a closer walk with God, needing guidance for a life issue or energy for a creative endeavor, or merely wanting to relax and/or to satisfy their curiosity about this ancient tool. Walkers are asked to remove their shoes and silence is usually observed, although music is occasionally played. Wheelchairs and canes are, of course, allowed. A brochure is available to provide more ideas and suggestions for your walk into the center and your return from the center. The labyrinth is open for small groups as well as individuals.
The labyrinth is scheduled to be open on the following dates:
May 23: 6-9 pm
May 24: 10 am - 5 pm
Other dates are tentatively set for the coming fall:
September 20: 10 - 5
October 25: 10 - 5
November 29: 10 - 5
